As I'm sure most of you are aware, we have the grade 8 Immersion potluck on Monday, June 25th. The potluck will begin around 12:00 pm and run the rest of the day, including clean up.
All of your children have signed up to bring an item to the potluck, please speak with them regarding what they have chosen to bring. All items should only be family sized, there is no need to bring enough for all 37 people attending. Please do not send anything that is frozen, as there is not enough time to cook those items prior to the potluck. Crockpot's are a wonderful option, as they allow us to keep the food warm all morning prior to lunch. A utensil to serve the dish would also be recommended. Please put your name on all items that come to school so that we can ensure that they make it home to you that night. Please be aware of the multiple students with allergies that we have in our classes. Do not send any food items that contain the following:
If you need to change the item that your child has signed up for please have your child speak to me at school.
